Deco Turf™ has been chosen for some of the world's most prestigious tennis championships, including the US Open. Area Realtors 'Run for the Roses' at The Enclave

Over 300 area Realtors and guests gathered at The Enclave on Saturday, May 5, for a unique 'Run for the Roses' celebration. The event marked the end of a three-month campaign designed to re-introduce The Enclave to the realtor community and Savannah.

A private residential community, The Enclave is conveniently located near Southbridge, just 11 miles from downtown. Only 321 families will reside here, creating an intimate community. Though The Enclave has been quietly and beautifully maturing, many Savannahians, and even area realtors, are only vaguely familiar with the community. That is likely to change, however, with the opening of a $6.2 million Amenity Center in late August, an increasing number of new homes and Open House tours, and events for realtors like Run for the Roses.

Themed around The Kentucky Derby, the festive celebration was as close to Churchill Downs as one can get in Savannah. Guests wore creative and fashionable Derby Hats and sipped Mint Juleps from commemorative glasses. Menu highlights ranged from lobster medallions to the Derby's traditional cucumber sandwiches. On four widescreen plasmas, realtors watched pre-race festivities and sang "My Old Kentucky Home" along with the Louisville crowd. Then, in the fastest two minutes in sports, they watched Street Sense rally from 19th to win the 133rd running of the race.

While the festivities were great fun, Realtors also took advantage of the opportunity to tour homes that are currently available for sale and take hard hat tours of the Amenity Center. Many returned with customers the following day for The Enclave's Open House, making Sunday a very busy day at the community.

The Enclave is a development of The Fitzer Group, LLC (formerly Genesis Real Estate Group, LLC), and is located just 11 miles from downtown, on Berwick Boulevard, just off Highway 17. Homes (from $346,500) homesites (from $92,300) are all available. For information and directions, call (912) 236-9263 or visit EnclaveSavannah.com.
